OnWard

Matteo Bruno, Joana Stutz, Dominik Näf

Make continuous vital monitoring as simple as applying a bandaid.

OnWard captures what is usually lost: vital data from the very first moments of an emergency. Apply the sensor like a bandage, access live vitals on any smartphone with a single tap, and securely hand over continuous data to paramedics.

No new infrastructure.Minimal interface.

Clarity under pressure.

at 3:50pm

Vital Guard

Trisha Wettstein, Abirshana Thayalakuru, Anna Senko, Caroline Krasnosselski

When chaos unfolds and every second matters, Vital Guard stands watch. Designed for small emergency teams at mass-casualty incidents, the quickly attachable wearables capture vital signs of every patient on site. A dynamic triage app continuously analyses the data and automatically updates patient priority in real time. Vital Guard transforms triage from a static first assessment into continuous, data-driven prioritisation and ensures that no deterioration goes unnoticed.

at 4:10pm

Petal

Elena Fabrikant, Noel Kampus, Nico Frey

When medical teams are responsible for many patients and conditions change continuously, they cannot watch everyone at once. Petal is a wearable monitoring and triage system for emergency response and mass casualty situations. A thin silicone patch tracks vital signs in real time and sends the data to a shared dashboard. This gives medical professionals a clear overview of all patients at once and helps them see quickly who needs attention most.
